Enjoy the mountains and nature of Aso. Private trekking tour to Mt. Nekodake
Mt. Nekodake, one of the five peaks of Mount Aso, is said to have been formed approximately 150,000 years ago and has a long history even among the peaks of Mount Aso. The ridge between the eastern and western peaks is jagged and sawtooth-shaped, giving the mountain a distinctive shape.
Since the Kumamoto earthquake, some routes have been closed to climbers, but this time we will be walking the Tsurui Ridge Route. Enjoy the magnificent nature of Aso at a leisurely pace as you aim for the summit!
From the summit, you can see the main peak of Mt. Nekodake (Tengu Rock) to the west, the rugged rocky ridge of Mt. Takadake, and from there, clockwise, Mt. Hiko, Mt. Kokonoe, Mt. Yufu, Mt. Sobo/Mt. Katamune, Mt. Okuzure, and the Kyushu Spine Ridge, all around you, as well as the famous mountains of Kyushu.
