☆☆What is "Ikinari Dango"?☆☆

Kumamoto's local sweets, "Ikinari Dango," are made with sliced sweet potatoes and red bean paste.

It is wrapped in wheat flour dough and steamed to finish, and has a simple and gentle taste.

"Ikinari" means "easily" or "immediately" in Kumamoto dialect.

As the name suggests, it has long been a popular way to welcome unexpected guests.

Now it has become a popular local confectionery and a souvenir from Kumamoto!
